The Silver Hind

The Silver Hind can be found in the centre of the New Forest Village of Sway. We are a friendly Restaurant & Village Inn welcoming all the family including dogs and horses! The property dates from 1909 and was originally a cottage for the district nurse. It has been significantly extended and refurbished, providing a high quality free house with restaurant and bar.

Our Chefs are passionate about sourcing seasonal produce from the New Forest area including local fish, seafood and game. We are proud that everything is made by our Chefs. We carry a range of real ales and have a warm and friendly bar for you to enjoy a relaxing drink. Our carefully chosen wine list is sensibly priced with a good selection of wines by the glass.

The Silver Hind is easily accessed from the London, Southampton & Bournemouth areas by rail or car. Sway is in the National Park and the open forest is literally within a few minutes walk. The nearby Georgian town of Lymington is a sailing centre with a marina and ferry service to the Isle of Wight.
